How pooled orders work

Share one production run of an identical product with other retailers, each with your own branding. How it works, what it suits and what it is not.

Updated

A pooled order lets three or four retailers share one production run of the same base product. The metal is identical. Each retailer gets their own logo, tag and packaging, and their own quote and invoice.

Why it helps

The base product minimum is shared, so each retailer can order less than they would alone. Branding and packaging minimums still apply per retailer, which is why simple tags or sleeves suit pooled runs best.

How a pooled run comes together

  • Register interest in a product. This is a waitlist, not a commitment.
  • Feasibility check with the factory on the base spec and branding methods.
  • Individual quotes to each retailer.
  • Sample and artwork approval, one per brand.
  • Run confirmed once enough retailers commit. Deposits are only requested after that, and are refunded in full if a confirmed run does not proceed.
  • Production, inspection and freight.

What it is not

It is not a group buy with a shared brand, and nobody sees another retailer's artwork. It is not guaranteed: if not enough retailers commit, the run is not confirmed, no deposit is requested, and you can choose to go solo.

We are piloting this with one product first: a rolling grill basket.
