Campfire and camping cookware

Campfire grill stands, swing grates, charcoal baskets, fire starters, portable grills and cast iron pots for camping and 4WD retailers.

Buying campfire for your brand

Campfire and camping cookware suits camping, 4WD, hardware and outdoor stores: grill stands, campfire grates, charcoal baskets, starters and cast iron.

This range covers stands, swing and rotating grills, a charcoal basket, a firewood and charcoal starter and a cast iron pot.

What to know before you buy

  • Before you order, check whether a mandatory safety standard or ban applies to the product. As the importer you are the supplier under Australian Consumer Law.
  • These touch food. FSANZ Standard 3.2.3 binds your food business customers rather than you, but it is the best guide to a food-contact surface: easy to clean, non-absorbent and made of material that will not contaminate food. FSANZ lists copper and galvanised metal in contact with acidic foods as a contamination risk; our advice is to keep those surfaces away from food altogether.
  • Stands and folding grills carry weight over a fire. Check stability, hinges and locking pins loaded on the sample, and put them on your inspection list.
  • Cast iron needs protection against rust in transit. Ask how it is seasoned or coated and packed.

Branding and packaging

  • These are often sold in a carry bag. A printed bag or a swing tag suits the outdoor look and keeps packaging simple.
  • A logo plate or etched logo on a stand stays visible at every campsite.
  • Solid timber pallets or crates need evidence that they meet Australia's import conditions (an ISPM 15 mark, or an alternative treatment accepted under BICON) and the right paperwork, or the shipment can be held at the border.

What to check before you order

  • Load rating and stability on uneven ground.
  • Height adjustment range and how it locks.
  • Packed size and carry bag, important for camping customers.
  • Steel grade and finish for a product that lives outdoors.

Branding these products

Most campfire can carry a laser etched logo, a branded tag or header card, or full retail packaging. Each option has its own minimum, which your quote sets out separately from the product minimum.
